Engineered with powerful Nail Head fabric and ripstop polyester for strength on the trail.     I bought this little chair to use while waiting during one of my sons classes. The waiting area never has enough seating and I let the ladies use the chairs. So this tiny chair works perfectly for me. It's small enough not to make a big production out of using it. I'm 6'1" and 215lbs and it holds me perfectly steady. This thing is small, light weight and would work perfectly for hiking, but I would not recommend for camping because you'll want to sit by the camp fire for a while. Great for resting!

It turns out that there are so many more applications for this, Fishing, Hunting, Watching his game at the ball park and those are just a few.     This little seat is so lightweight that you almost do not know that you are carrying it! For a 3-legged seat it is pretty stable and comfortable.
    Like others have said, the company should make the velcro strap at least another 6" longer.
